Max Winston is Director of Data Science at Apriori, leading the development of its unique digital platform built to design variant-resilient vaccines for viral threats. He brings broad expertise across machine learning, informatics, computational biology, and scalable data infrastructure to his role.&nbsp;Max has eight years of experience building practical technology for biotechnology start-ups. Most recently at EQRx he built a new data science function and digital infrastructure from the ground up, supporting its novel drug discovery approach for 14 target programs in both synthetic molecule and antibody modalities. Prior to this he held several roles at Indigo Agriculture, where he was responsible for building the proprietary computational pipeline for generating targeted performance insights on Indigo's commercial and pre-commercial products. He also worked to enable its microbial discovery capabilities, building a scalable machine learning framework for its Biologics pipeline.Max has a PhD in Evolutionary Genomics from University of Chicago and completed his undergraduate degree at Princeton University.&nbsp;
