Raffaella Squilloni is VP, Business Strategy & Operations at Apriori Bio.&nbsp;She is instrumental in aligning the company’s leadership and research teams with its strategic goals, overseeing cross-functional initiatives both internally within Flagship’s ecosystem and with partners. Raffaella's&nbsp;career spans across new company formation, buy-side investing, and corporate development leadership experience from early drug discovery, clinical, and commercial stages of both biotech and biopharma companies.&nbsp; She was a Venture Operating Partner at Gurnet Point Capital where she provided operational support to portfolio companies, focusing on strategic M&amp;A, divestiture, restructuring, and business development and served as COO of their early clinical-stage tissue engineering newco. Prior to Gurnet Point, Raffaella&nbsp;co-founded Orna Therapeutics, a biotech company developing a novel circular RNA platform that spun out of MIT.&nbsp; Key achievements include co-inventing its main program and breakthrough technology for&nbsp;in vivo&nbsp;reprogramming of immune cells, securing over ~$500 million in venture funding, and shaping the company’s growth and strategic vision as a Board Director and Director of Business Development from inception through Series A.&nbsp;Additionally, Raffaella was a Blavatnik Fellow in Life Sciences Entrepreneurship at Harvard Business School and&nbsp;launched her career at Goldman Sachs International, gaining valuable experience on the buy-side and trading floor. Raffaella&nbsp;earned her MBA from Harvard Business School&nbsp;and received her MSc/BSc from the London School of Economics and the University of Chicago.
